Yup!! We’re back at it this year with the crew at #PDXPOPNOW! Check out our schedule for hours, we’re posted up Friday through Sunday!

There comes a time when a little food cart needs to grow up and get a “real” business…or at least that’s what they tell us.
We wonder–why not both? KOi Fusion has been defying odds since its inception in 2009, and now we are doing it again. Presenting our very first ever brick & mortar location, koi-ly nicknamed KOi DStreet for its location in the D-Street building on SE Division at 30th.
This location boasts indoor, climate-controlled seating for 35, 2+ taps of amazing, cold beer (Hop Valley Brewing & Base Camp Brewing), our deep-fried wonders like the K-Dog & Sweet Potato Fries, and much more! You will also notice upon your first visit that KOi’s kind of gone to space–look for some new branding with wall murals and table tops by local designer Gage Hamilton. We went back to the basics with classy black and white with accents of light grained wood. This location of KOi will be introducing some new, never-before-seen menu items at our new location too!
We are so excited to share this new location with you all!

Many people have asked us since sporting the above shirts at Eat Mobile 2014–what is a D-Street Native? What many of our long-time K’Heads know is that we were one of the original food carts on Division at 30th. After the beginnings of construction, all of the carts had to relocate, and once construction went to its finishing phase, the developers invited us to be one of the first businesses back in the area. It’s because of this that we’ve coined the term DStreet Native, one that originated from the same spot on Division.
We owe a huge thanks to all the people who helped us get to where we are today. KOi has grown so much and we aren’t stopping yet! We still have our killer carts (have you been to our newest spot on SE Oak next to Base Camp Brewing?) Look for more news as the year moves forward!
Thank you Steve Shomler!
Steve is a local author and huge K’Head! He recently released a book all on food carts! Grab a copy of Portland Food Cart Stories: Behind the Scenes with City’s Culinary Entrepeneurs on Amazon. You can also follow his adventures on his blog!
Remember that one time we rocked Eat Mobile?
Yeah that was pretty rad! Huge thanks to all our #KHeads who supported us!
We’re back at Eat Mobile today sharing a NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN item. In honor of our new location (and very first ever brick-and-mortar), we are cooking up something with some serious staying power. A perfect bite for a rainy spring day, this item will give a whole new perspective to how you see kimchi.
Join us TODAY rain or shine at Willamette Week’s Eat Mobile at OMSI from 1pm-6pm and #getsumKOi. Be sure to tag your pics @KOiFusionPDX and #WWEatMobile!
A KOi ship has landed at Base Camp! We are very excited to announce that we have teamed up with Base Camp Brewing to offer brews and tacos for all our hungry K’Heads. The new Base Camp cart will have the same hours as the brewery:
Sunday-Wednesday Noon until 9pm
Thursday-Saturday 11am until Midnight
As you may have noticed, these hours are crazy different from most of our other locations (besides Stadium)–stay tuned to our twitter for updates as some of our locations move to summer hours!

Where did this trailer come from? The Base Camp Trailer came over from its location at SuperPod (on SE 2nd and Water Ave near Produce Row). Fun Fact: The trailer has only moved 6 blocks east of its previous location, which means that if you are recently heartbroken over the move, fear not! We are now in a location just outside Base Camp Brewing, a brewery with a sick indoor taproom (hooray climate control!), awesome outdoor seating (which is currently expanding), and hearty FREE beer smells! And we are a quick walk from the old location! Feel better? We thought you might
You can now get KOi Fusion from inside the taproom (simply order at the bar) and hot, happy kimchi times are headed your way–delivered right to your table!
More delicious surprises are in store–we are just getting started!
