Yes … we said SPIT’D. Because we can say whatever we want … we have a poem written about us! Thanks for all the love k’headz, and all the special ways you show it. It’s just our style. So we received a tweet the other day from Gastropoetics that we were the subject of his/her latest poetry grind. So turn your lights down low, open your mind … and check this out!

In a wind of one ways
and bike lanes.
Highways
and driveways.
KOi slips by unseen.
As the day shifts and the crowds change.
This chameleon of the food truck world
sends its social signal.

By day the crowded pace of lunch on the go.
Catered sites,
Thirty minute hunger fights.
They come in short, sudden bursts.
With a drive that only a midday empty stomach sees.

Night brings a different shade of this complex feast.
With a late draw
And bars not far.
It greets a different need.
Emerging from hidden corners,
Breaking from purposed paths.
These treats are more than drunk eats.

But what binds this great feasting,
can’t be heard by the ears
but by the loudest silent call the world has ever seen.

A few weeks ago we had a run of our color stickers printed with our secondary logo. In the past week or so, it’s come to our attention that some people have taken the liberty of tagging stickers around the chinatown and 23rd neighborhoods. Here’s some of ones we noticed walking around the city.

Also don’t forget to come by the cart next week. We’ll have a limited run of our black and white stickers for the first few hundred people that show up.
