KOi Fusion PDX

We are KOi fusion. Starting in 2009 as one mobile taco truck, Chef Bo Kwon was inspired by the pioneering vision of LA’s Kogi. Using the genre of Korean Fusion as a blueprint, we set about creating our own niche within this category, using Mama Kwon’s secret family marinades, local, fresh vegetables, and locally-sourced tortilla vendors to create a new twist that’s uniquely Portland. We pride ourselves on using locally grown ingredients, and we believe that as a member of the Portland community, it’s our duty to use fresh and environmentally-friendly techniques whenever possible.

By adhering these founding principles, KOi has gone from one cart in the spring of 2009 to a present-day lineup that includes two full-time trucks, a stationary location, and an entire catering division. We’ve been profiled in CNN, The New York Times, Food & Wine Magazine, Gourmet Magazine, and a host of local media from around the Northwest.

KOi appears at numerous Portland events, including First and Last Thursdays, social events, weddings, businesses, parties…you name it! If we can fit our truck somewhere, we’ll be there!

Our chill, easy-going team consists of close family and friends. We are all dedicated to serve and deliver you a fusion of flavors that’s unlike anything else available.

By combining our succulent barbecued meats with freshly grilled tortillas and tacos, we offer a range of fusion mash-ups that have received rave reviews, including tacos, burritos, kimchi quesadillas, our world-famous sliders. We also offer a host of seasonal chef specials that often vary week-to-week, including Korean fried chicken, K-dogs, and spicy Korean fries.

We strive off of your love and energy. We couldn’t be more thankful for everyone’s support, and that’s why we do what we do.

From all of us at Team KOi,

Peace.
