On November 8th and 9th, Koi Fusion’s owner Bo Kwon was offered the opportunity to judge a Young Entrepreneur Competition to help shape Tigard Youth and make a real impact on our future business leaders.

The Young Entrepreneurs
Prior to Bo’s judging, Supa Fresh Youth Farm put the participants through a 6 week course to hone their skills as future business men and women.
With products and services ranging from a Hawaiian coffee cart, mobile beauty services for underprivileged girls, and party planning services on a budget, each business plan was impressive.

Mentors and Students
One young woman in particular stole the show, however. Morgan Kemper, the creator of “Baked” – a coconut flour based gluten free line of baked goods – won the competition and impressed Bo so much that he pulled some strings and secured her with an internship at a local gluten free bakery!
These Young Entrepreneurs really went above and beyond! Thank you to Supa Fresh Youth Farm and Mia Bartlett for allowing us to get involved with such a wonderful program!
We are even looking forward to taking on some interns of our own!!
